All on minor level 1:
- Development of insight into melody, harmony, rhythm, form and counterpoint by study and application. - In-depth analysis of existing jazz scores from various stylistic eras.
- Heurism of jazz: in-depth study of authentic jazz recordings through analysis and performance.
