Course Content

- Study of the notation of the various parameters of the composition (melody, harmony, rhythm, dynamics, structure and timbre, ...
- Research into the most important notation styles within the recent historical repertoire
of publications/scores by the composers concerned
- Research on scores by Strawinsky, Bartok, Berg, Dutilleux, Schoenberg, Webern,  Messiaen, Lutoslawsky, Ligeti and other contemporary composers
- Build up a personal musical language and study its notation consequences
