Course Content

- developing musical-stylistic interaction in groups (instant composing / orchestrating)
- the study of free improvisation and open stylistic interpretations, and their application in any kind of ensemble
- study of the important stylistic currents of avant-garde jazz
- development of stage presence, professional attitude, interaction, expression and communication with an audience and fellow musicians within the broader artistic context of ensemble playing
- developing a scientific/artistic vision of contemporary evolutions in the various sound palettes (group sound) of avant-garde music
