Course Content

The student participates in at least two  masterclasses, with the aim of testing the insights acquired with another teacher and expanding on them. Depending on the masterclasses chosen, the following learning outcomes may be covered:

Learning outcomes that strengthen musical skills and insights:

• knowledge of one's own repertoire and the state of the arts;
• knowledge of common orchestral features,
• contextual knowledge (historical and contemporary perspective, knowledge of various musical styles and frameworks, research skills
• study methods
• repertoire building
• mental preparation
• embodiment;
• body control, mastery of musical notation or instrumental technique or coordination
• knowledge of solfège aspects
• creativity in interpretation, relaxation exercises
• reflection
• narrative performance …
- research into existing interpretations and possibilities
- further development of body posture
- further development of a controlled technique
- building up velocity, virtuosity, tone production and expression
- research and study of stylistic characteristics and the relevant performance techniques from the Baroque period to the present day.

- building a broad repertoire with solo works, sonatas and concertos, including contemporary music
