Course Content

- Development of musical-stylistic interaction within group performance situations
- Study of improvisation and stylistic interpretation, and the practical application within the realm of ensemble playing
- Study of existing interpretations and capabilities
- Development of performance awareness, professional attitude, interaction, expression and communication with the audience and the other performing musicians within the artistic context of ensemble playing
- Research into existing interpretations and possibilities for the development of an academic/artistic view on the contemporary evolution within the different sound palettes used in jazz music

Course Objectives

- Mastery of instrumental and interactive skills within the artistic context of ensemble playing
- Optimal development of the artistic personality and expressive capabilities in relation to ensemble playing
