Course Content

- Motor learning content:
breathing techniques; motor skills; gestures; coordination; relaxation and endurance; embodiment; body control, mastering the conducting skills.

- Musical skills:
aural development, development of textual precision; developing an artistic result using directorial skills, implementation in context of a performance; artistic freedom within style; interdisciplinary stylistic skills

- Strategies/transferable skills:
research skills; study method; targeted technical exercises; repertoire building; mental preparation, application of solfège skills; creativity in interpretation, relaxation exercises; reflection; narrative performance

Course Objectives

The student progressively masters the knowledge and skills necessary for the chosen musical specialisation by means of methodical thinking frameworks and exercises adapted to the level of training (LO1-2,4).

The student demonstrates artistic and practice-oriented craft knowledge progressively in an individual context using practical examples in the context of a sustained artistic presentation/performance (LO10).

Under supervision, the student constructs an artistic product and communicates efficiently about it. He/she reflects on his/her own work from a critical-artistic attitude and with attention to lifelong professional growth. (LO 11, 13)
