Course Content

In the first part of this course unit, the focus lies on several models in cross-cultural research (for example, Hofstede). These models enable us to 'understand' cultural differences and treat them more sensitively. Various cultures are compared with one another: European, American, African, Arabic and Asian. This is done by way of actual examples and cases. In the second part, the focus lies on cultural differences in specific management situations: negotiating, ethics, conflict management and leadership, all within the context of international management.
